Bob has had a lifelong interest in architecture, boats, trees, and history.  Recognized for his thoughtful work, he has been published in various building and design magazines and has lectured on the history of New England barns.   His interest in architecture goes beyond domestic structures.  With an eye for detail and beauty under layers of paint and years of wear,  he has continuously built and restored boats from pond yachts as a child to a 100-year-old E.M. White canoe and a 1950 Beetlecat.

A graduate of Lawrence University with a BA in Government, Bob has been active in local government as a member of the Ipswich Planning Board and chair of the  Growth Management Steering Committee.  He currently serves on the Design Review Board and is Chair of the Public Safety Facility Committee.
